If you are wondering why we are only open every other week, which is a little odd, it is because I am a full-time critical care transport nurse.​​

 

My dad, Tom Lane, and I ran Ashe Custom Framing & Gallery together for many years until my career took me to Winston-Salem. He always said he wanted the gallery and frame shop to be mine one day, I just didn't expect it to be so soon.

  

​After he passed away, I finished his customers' work and found a renewed love for framing. Being in the shop helped to fill part of the hole his loss left in my heart. I hope I can make him proud by continuing his legacy.
